Brooklyn’s Danielle Johnson aka Computer Magic has just uploaded a new track to her Soundcloud, the deliciously upbeat, comparatively heavy synth banger “Trinity”. According to Johnson it’s part of an upcoming EP, with no further details revealed. In any case, it should be sufficient to get your blood circulation going on this cloudy morning of Friday the 13th.

BAND OF THE DAY #91 - Computer Magic
Meet Danielle Johnson, a 21-year-old “sci-fi obsessive” from Brooklyn who goes under the alias of Computer Magic. She makes lo-fi bedroom electronic pop music presumably using some clever computer plug-in that makes it sound as though it came out of a bunch of Korgs that have been stored in a secret vault since the eighties.
The track ‘Ex Believer’ can be found on the recently released Kitsuné Maison Compilation 12, available here. Check out the video for ‘The End Of Time’ complete with the best space suite we have seen this side of the apollo missions.
